Simplicity
The purpose of this book is to express a philosophical idea I got back in August of 1971, at which time I was a 21 year-old research assistant in sociology.
My plan after having the idea was to become as thoroughly educated in philosophy as possible up until I was about 50, and then set about putting it in writing, finishing around when I was 65. Well, apart from my being only 63, that’s what I did. I must say I enjoyed all the time I have spent thinking about the subject.
